FOUNDATION ART & DESIGN
London College of Contemporary Arts
The foundation course provides an essential introduction to creative art and design, encouraging exploration and experimentation in various media. With its emphasis on developing creative thinking, the programme provides students with the opportunity to develop individual ways of expression through learning from a wide range of complementary art and design projects and processes. Over three terms, the course philosophy also aims to develop communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
In small groups and through personal contact with proven industry professionals on our teaching and technical staff, students are guided towards a specialist pathway that is right for them. Here, at LCCA’s Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, students develop the necessary ambition, knowledge and skills for further educational and career-based opportunities in the fields of art and design.
